There’s a whole south Florida 305 RAIDER KLVN scene that some say spaceghostpurrp started. SGP was pulling in that screwed up Houston sound, d a r k Memphis cult tapes, and mixing it all up to orchestrate the same scene that created Denzel Curry, Yung Simmie, and the rest of RVIDER KLVN with their vicious sound. Not to mention the former intertwining with A$AP Mob.
I got into it by way of Lil Ugly Mane, which is a story in and of itself, but the point is that SGP is a visionary, and as unbelievably talented as he is, there’s a lot of concern online that he is struggling with something serious. Which is why this track is important. SGP kicked out RVIDER KLVN members, started beefs with everyone from A$AP, and alienated the same people who had the brand of cypher magic that the legendary Screwed Up Click had on that fateful June 27th. He created a huge rift in RVIDER KLVN, and this posse cut from Ronny J absolutely buries SGP; his own children indiscriminately tearing him down. RVIDER KLVN is here to stay, 305 is going to keep producing dark and violent hits, but they’re leaving SGP behind.
