The story follows, the Republic of San Magnolia, which has been at war with the Empire of Giad for nine years. It initially suffered devastating losses to the Empire’s autonomous Legions. After years of research, Republic finally developed autonomous units, called Juggernauts, turning the one-sided struggle into a war without any casualties. The public believes the war is being fought between machines, but in reality, the Juggernauts are being piloted by humans.
Major Vladilena “Lena” Milize, an Alba noble and military officer in the San Magnolian military, is an outspoken activist against the mistreatment of the nation’s Colorata minority. She is assigned as the Handler of the Spearhead Squadron of the Eastern Front. Led by their squad leader, Shinei Nouzen, known as the reaper of the Eastern Front, among the Eighty-six.
In the recent episode, we are going to see that, Shin and his friends, decided to fulfill Ernst’s wishes and enrolled in the Special Officer’s Training School. They later, visit a region, where they find their destroyed Juggernauts.
