Byeonduck’s ongoing manhwa, Painter of the Night, is written and illustrated by him. It was published by Lezhin Comics and was released in 2019. The first season is made up of chapters 1 through 44, with the second season starting on July 24th.
Hanyang, the capital of the Joseon kingdom (Seoul’s old name), exists in a past setting of Korea during the Goryeo or Joseon eras. It’s about a nobleman, Yoon Seungho, who wants Baek Na-kyum to keep drawing sensual paintings despite his opposition.
The Plot of Painter of the Night:
In the series Painter of the Night, When Yoon Seungho learns about Baek Na-paintings, kyum’s he is enthralled. When Seungho locates him, he responds that he is not the painter, so he strikes his assistant with a katana blade for the alleged lying. Seungho has Na-kyum transported to his house because he can’t tell who’s telling the truth now that he’s passed out.
When asked if he is the painter, Na-kyum tearfully denies it, but Seungho begs him to stay and produce more art depicting him in intimate situations with others. Seungho observes that he has both eyes and all ten fingers, so he doesn’t understand why Na-kyum can’t paint, but he could certainly offer him a valid reason.

Although the release date of Painter of the Night chapter 79 is not yet declared by the author, it is most likely to be released this September itself. Chapter 77 and 78 were released in August and chapter 79 is yet to be declared by the author.
