Britannia is a historical metaphysical thriller television show set in the United Kingdom. Jez Butterworth and Tom Butterworth came up with this unique idea. It was the first time Sky and Amazon Prime Video collaborated on a project. However, Britannia is actually a vast mystery continent inhabited by rebellious tribes that will not quickly surrender to the new invaders.
In the 2nd series, we see, after 2 years with General Aulus battling his way through Britannia with the help of Celtic Queen Amena. Cait, a 14-year-old Cantii member who is being mentored by outcast Druid Divis, is the last hope for the tribes rising against Roman power.
The plot of Britannia Season 2:
The second season of Epix picks up two years after the invasion, with General Aulus romanizing the other tribes with the help of Celtic Queen Amena. Druids and Celts both are in a hope that Cait, a young girl who is mentored by the outcast Druid Divis, will somehow protect and save them.
Phelan is undecided on which flame to carry and where he should carry it. He says he’d prefer to go home right now. They share an apple while talking about the Gods’ messages. Quane decides to leave after a few moments. He begins by reminding Phelan that his adventure had just begun.
Ania rushes to Veran while Cait continues her ceremony. They exchange a few words before Veran hands her a weapon. He wants Ania to send her brother a message. Aulus dashes through the gate, where he is reunited with Amena. Bread (Caoilfhionn Dunne) and the rest receive the sword from Ania.
