Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ serializes the manga for free. In North America English version of the manga is licensed by VIZ Media. The series has been collected into individual tankobon volumes.
The plot of Kaiju No.8
The series is based on a Japanese monster named Kaiju. Kaiju is responsible for killing the populace. Along with the Japanese Defense Force, he regularly attacks the populace to destroy them. Two Childhood friends Kafka Hibino and Mina Ashiro vowed to join the defense after their house was destroyed during their childhood.
After joining the force Mina becomes the most popular commander of the defense forces’ 3rd unit. Failing the examination numerous times Kafka had to join the clean-up crew. He is responsible for disposing of the dead bodies of monsters after their death in the battles.
In the process, a small talking monster enters his month and he too becomes a monster. Later he gets named Kaiju No.8 by the defense force. Later Kafka escapes the defense force and becomes the first monster to escape the Defense Force.

Chapter 43 of Kaiju No. 8 is scheduled for release on September 2nd, 2021, at around 12.00AM JS. It will be available on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+. Time may vary based on different time zones around the world. A new chapter is available on VIZ’s Shonen Jump and also on the Mangaplus website and app for free. To read the manga readers need to sign in to the app.
The chapters are also available in Espanol/ Spanish. The first three chapters of the manga are available for free. For the rest of the chapters, users will have to buy a premium membership costing $2 per month for the website. Raw scans for the manga get released 2 -3 days prior original chapter release.
