Paul Bettany’s MCU Career

Paul Bettany, 49, has been a part of Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) since its dawn. He started his career in the MCU as the voice of J.A.R.V.I.S. in Iron Man 2 (2010). His career began as the voice of Tony Starks’s virtual assistant. He then remained an eminent part of The Avengers (2012) and Iron Man 3 (2013).

His major on-screen role in the MCU was Vision. He played the character in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) followed by Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Besides playing Vision, he was simultaneously doing his voice roles for J.A.R.V.I.S. too. His recent collaboration with MCU was WandaVision (2021), a Marvel miniseries.

Paul Bettany the Vision of MCU when asked about whether he will return to MCU ever he said, “I love Vision. Yes, I’m in.” Well, what can this mean? The actor loves the character he plays so in the future if he is offered the role to play in Marvel movies, he is surely going to accept it.

The actor further said, “I’m going to not speak on that one. I love playing the Vision. I would absolutely love to continue in some way, shape, or form, in the universe. I love this character, and I think that, as you will see when you get to watch this, anything is possible. We can break all kinds of rules. It’s very rich storytelling, and it’s full of many opportunities to tell all sorts of different stories. I love being involved, and it’s been a ride of a lifetime.”

The future prediction for Vision remains uncertain as of now. Well, it is also likely that WandaVision isn’t the last of his movies where we’ll get to see Paul as Vision. Also, there are possibilities that MCU might just put an end to Vision and introduce him in an all-new character.
