Young Sheldon is a spinoff prequel to ‘The Big Bang Theory.’ The show is about nine-year-old Sheldon, who finds it difficult to settle in with his parents, and friends due to his one of a kind mental capabilities and social ineptitude. Sheldon is basically a child prodigy. The series aired on September 25, 2017, and has been running for 4 seasons as of 2020.

Recently, the CBS network announced that Young Sheldon has been renewed for Season 5. Not just this, the show will go on for 3 more seasons. The arrangement has an 82% endorsement rating on Rotten Tomatoes and over 9 million watchers each week. With the success rate, the fans trusted for a new season, and it got certified by CBS Entertainment president Kelly Kahl.
There has not been any official release date for Season 5 yet but is expected to air between 2021-2022. Looking at the previous season airing dates, we can expect the release by end of 2021.
Speaking of 3 new seasons, they are too lined up from the year 2023-24. Those three more seasons guarantee the show will continue until at least season 7. The series will be produced by Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, Parsons and Todd Spiewak in association with Warner Bros. Television.

We are expecting the Cooper family to return. Jim Parson (former Sheldon from ‘The Big Bang Theory’) might also return for his narration for the show.
