Marvel reveals first LGBTQ+ Teen Captain America

With the beginning of a new era, Marvel Comics is introducing the first-ever LGBTQ+ identified person to step into the suit of fan-favorite Captain America. There are planning to drop the series somewhere between the Pride month.

Written by Christopher Cantwell and drawn by Dale Eaglesham, The United States of Captain America spots light on the life of Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson, Bucky Barnes, and John Walker who decides to tackle every danger to find out the shield of Captain America. On this adventure, they will meet those, who have been following Captain America as his ideal and encountering every danger to help their communities. Aaron Fischer is one of those strong beings.

Aaron Fischer is an identified gay person, was created by Aaron Trujillo and artist Jan Bazaldua, who has penned the first installment of the issue that will introduce Fischer to the Marvel Universe. Aaron is widely known as the Captain America of the Railways who protects runaway and homeless teens. Though he doesn’t have any kind of supernatural powers like Steve Roger.

“Aaron reflects the real-life heroes of the LGBTQ+ community, activists, leaders who are fighting to deliver a better life to each one of their community,” Trujillo said in one of his recent interviews. “Aaron has come from the background where he has seen how cruel this world is, he is destined to help the oppressed and helpless. I hope his life inspires readers” he added

Issue #1 will hit the stores on June 2, will focus on the life of different kinds of Captain Americas, who has been fighting odds for the right.

“With this United States of Captain America, We’re hoping to explore what the idea of Captain America means at this precise moment — not just on the worldwide stage — but to every day and often overlooked communities throughout the United States,” Cantwell stated in a recent interview.
