Spin-offs are the thing of the future as they say. The movie theatres and streaming platforms are filled with either prequels or sequels of the original movie. And we are not against it. A prequel or a sequel is a work of art too. But there are no original big-budget movies right now. Yes, there’s independent cinema but, that cinema is for a handful of people. There’s no big-budget original movie by any big studios these days.
With some bad spin-offs, we have some amazing spin-offs too. So let’s just count the best spin-offs which are awesome as the original:
HOBBS AND SHAW-
We are all familiar with the fast and furious franchise. People loved the franchise and they never get tired of watching the movies in the franchise. So the studio released another movie in the same timeline in the fast universe on the mercenaries Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw. The movie is filled with action scenes and every scene is a bit humourous like the original. The movie also references the original team too.
THE HOBBIT-
One of the most beloved and profitable franchises of Hollywoof is the Lord Of The Rings. The trilogy is also considered one of the greatest movies ever made. The Hobbit is the prequel to the events in The Lord Of The Rings. The Hobbit specifically focuses on Bilbo Baggins and his adventures with the Dwarves.
LOGAN-
We are all familiar with the X-Men universe. And we are also familiar with Wolverine also known as Logan. Although there are a number of sequels to the X-Mne, there is no sequel better than Logan. I will go to the extent of seating that Logan is even better than the original movie. The movie focuses on Logan’s last days of being a wolverine.
FANTASTIC BEAST AND WHERE TO FIND THEM-
Again we all loved Harry Potter. Both books and movies. But movies have a huge fan base around the world. The whole franchise has earned more than a billion dollars at the box office. Hence we have Fantastic Beast and Where to Find them. This movie is the prequel to Harry Potter and the events of this movie happen in New York. The movie has all the vibes of Harry Potter with more amazing creatures and of course there is magic.
THE MANDALORIAN-
The Mandalorian is the spin-off of the greatest science fiction movie franchise ever made, The Star Wars. Originally designed by George Lucas the franchise has also earned more than a billion dollars at the box office and there are die-hard fans of this franchise in the whole world. The Mandalorian series is focusing on the Mandalorians, one of the characters of Star Wars who are a brotherhood and a group of mercenaries. The series explores a different part of star wars with familiar characters.
