Daniel Radcliffe a.k.a Harry Potter was invited by the The Empire Magazine for a joint interview with Elijah Wood, well-known for playing the role of Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings series. The Empire, for the first time, have invited the two stars to give tribute to both the masterpieces in filming history.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone along with The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring has completed its 20th anniversary this year.
Elijah Wood and Daniel have met each other in the set too. As stated by both the actors. The two were often mistaken because of their identical appearance. The duo shared some funny incidents where they have been identified as the other person, Elijah as Daniel and vice versa.
20 years of Witchcraft and Wizardry:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone is the first part of tha Harry Potter series. The fantasy film was released in 2001 showing how Harry Potter, the 11-year old young wizard discovers his special abilities. And gets an invitation from the school of magic, Hogwarts.
The young boy was disgusted by the treatment meted out to him by his muggle (non magic folk) uncle and aunty. The invitation letter came to him as an escape from this terrific and dreadful life. As the story unfolds, we get to see how adventurous his life turns out to be as a wizard.
Harry Potter series has received tremendous success, both as a film and as a novel. Becoming a part of such a successful movie series was surely a bliss for the 31-year old actor, Daniel Radcliffe.
Released in the early 2000s, Sorcerer’s Stone, has finally completed its 20th anniversary. The Empire invited the main protagonist, Daniel Radcliffe (as Harry Potter) for a joint interview with Elijah Wood.
Daniel’s Reaction:
Although Daniel was ashamed of the mistakes he made during the early days of filming. He is thankful enough for the role because of which he rose to fame. He quoted,
“I’m incredibly grateful for the experience. It showed me what I want to do with the rest of my life. To find out early on what you love is really lucky.”
Daniel, while playing the role of young Harry, was surely not absolutely perfect. Afterall he was just a kid. Some similar comments were made by the actor in the interview also. He is deeply embarrassed by his ‘early acting’ in movie. Here what he said,
“I’m intensely embarrassed by some of my acting, obviously [laughs], but yeah, it’s like asking, ‘How do you feel about your teenage years?’ There’s so much in there that it’s almost impossible to single out one feeling.”
Despite recieving immense fame and love from the fans, the actor still cannot give up the fact. That he has made quite a number of mistakes during his early days of acting in Harry Potter.
