We all know this character from the famous crime show “Breaking Bad” that was aired back in the year 2008 for the first time. For the whole show, this lawyer helped Walter White in money laundering.
Bob Odenkirk was so good in the show that he got a lead in the show that goes by the name of his fictional character that is “Better Call Saul” which is a spin-off and the prequel of the show “Breaking Bad”.
This show was first aired five years ago and from 2015 this show has released 5 seasons and now this amazing and famous show is ready for another season as AMC has renewed this Drama series for its sixth season which will be the last one for “Better Call Saul”.
In an interview with the Deadline, Bob Odenkirk claimed season fifth of “Better Call Saul” as the best one and this spin-off will have an extra season in comparison to Breaking Bad and the sixth season will come with 13 episodes which will take the total tally of the episodes of the show to sixty-three.
Who is returning and who will die?
Now if we talk about who will return for the finale of the series then Bob Odenkirk will be back as Saul Goodman or Jimmy McGill.
Others who are also returning for the final season include Rhea Seehorn (Kim Wexler), Jonathan Banks (Mike Ehrmantraut), Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring), Patrick Fabian (Howard Hamlin, Michael Mando (Nacho Varga) and Tony Dalton (Lalo Salamanca).
Well, this new season is going to be the last so there are chances that one or even more than one character will die which you will find out soon.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly talking about the future of the Saul Goodman Peter Gould, the Executive Producer of this drama show said, “Anybody who watches the show carefully and is thinking about where this is all going.
One of the questions you have to ask yourself is: ‘What does this man deserve?’. Not just: ‘What’s going to happen to him?’, but ‘What would be a deserving end to this?”
The executive producer added,” Does Jimmy McGill or Saul Goodman deserve death? Does he deserve love? What would be the most fitting end for this guy-for the show? The end for everybody is death, but that may not be where we leave this guy.
Is there any way for him to win any redemption after everything that he’s done?” Mr Gould also raised a question on the future of the Kim Wexler and Nacho Varga who was caught between the two people Gus Fring and Don Eladio.
Based on what Executive Producer said in this interview we can conclude that the future of the Saul Goodman who will be seen under a new name of Gene Takavic in the upcoming season doesn’t seem bright as there are chances that he will meet death or maybe something else which we can never imagine.
It isn’t only Saul but the future of Kim and Nacho also don’t look good as we can also see them dead in the new season so guys it is better that you prepare yourself.
Last season will be out on….
We can expect new episodes by the end of 2021 or in the early months of 2022. There is a delay because of the pandemic which made a delay in the filming of the last season.
