Local media claimed Thursday that preliminary tests of Heche’s blood had returned positive for narcotics. However, more was needed to prove the drugs had not been supplied during her treatment. According to TMZ, Heche tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl, the latter commonly used as a pain reliever in clinical settings, citing anonymous police sources.
