In a world where everyone posseses some kind of magic, Asta is one with no powers. Asta and Yuno were abandoned at a church on the same day and were raised together. To become the Wizard King, both decide to compete. However, Yuno possesses a four-leaf clover, while Asta doesnt.
While in a fight with Lebuty, to save Yuno, he unleashes his inner power in a rage and receives a black clover, further defeating Lebuty in the fight. Now, Yuno and Asta both set on a journey. Who will become the Wizard King?
