The Fullmetal Alchemist, Edward Elric, along with his brother Alphonse and the Briggs soldiers, manages to freeze Sloth before being sent to the brig, and all this was done so that Oliver can learn and can have more knowledge about the homunculus.
He can know more by talking to them down to the tunnel so that they can tell her without any fear of reprisals. While being there, Edward logically concluded that the tunnel is being used as a giant transmutation circle.
And with those circle nodes being at many places Falman identifies them as sites of bloodied conflict. The Elrics realize Father and the homunculi were orchestrated events since Amestris’s founding.
Moreover, after being badly wounded during his attempt to kill Scar, a hospitalized Kimblee was visited by General Raven who then brought another state alchemist to give him better treatment and heal his wounds.
Kimblee and Raven arrive at Briggs soon after with Olivier tricking Raven into revealing the existence of an immortal army.

The plot follows the adventures of two alchemist brothers named Edward and Alphonse Elric. They are making great efforts to find the legendary Philosopher’s Stone.
So that they may recover parts of their bodies that they lost in an attempt to bring their beloved mother back to life. Therefore, Edward joins the state military and surprisingly discovers that several members of the military are also attempting to get the stone.
After contemplating how Scar and May could change their forms when everyone else alchemy was blocked at the time, Edward and Alphonse decided to find more as Mustang’s subordinates went their separate ways.
Meanwhile, when realizing that Scar helped Marcoh escape, Envy releases Kimblee from prison to help and assist in tracking their destination. Scar copies Marcoh’s face so he will not be recognized by any.
Informing the Elrics that May is heading north following their meeting with Bradley’s adopted son Selina, Armstrong gives Edward a letter of introduction to his older sister Olivier, who is stationed in Fort Briggs at the northern border.
Arriving to Briggs while blamed of being spies from the neighboring country of Drachma, the brothers are forced to work in exchange for staying and reuniting with the recently promoted Falman.
