The story picks up after Asou catches the ball, even after slamming his head against the boundary. This brings Inajitsu to three outs, and Seidou cuts its losses in this dangerous situation at one run.
A stretcher is brought in for the left fielder, and Miyuki explains to Furuya the reason why the ball slowed down without going over the fence was that the batter failed to best him.
