It has been serialized in Kodansha’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Afternoon since June 2017. It has also been collected in eleven tankobon volumes. It is an anime television series adaptation by Seven Arcs that will premiere in October 2021.

The story is all about a boy Yataro Yaguchi, a popular student who excels in school but always deals with inner frustration. He study well, play with his friends, but didn’t enjoy any of those activities. He used to study in the second year and get bored by his daily life. After then he quite made changes in his life. One day he get attracted by painting at his high school’s art club that inspired him so much, that it takes him to try his hand at painting.
After then, he was also inspired by his friend Ryuji Ayukawa and finally joined the Art Club. With no prior art experience, he decides to work towards applying to an art university:e; Tokyo University of the Arts.
