Scenes from a Marriage is an American drama television series directed by Hagai Levi. It is based on a 1973 Swedish television series of the same name created by Ingmar Bergman. The first episode of Scenes from a Marriage aired on September 12, 2021, and has received a positive response from the audience.

The show revolves around the life of Mira and Jonathan who are facing troubles in their married life. The show begins with the couple sitting on a couch and discussing their marriage. Then we see a dinner scene where we are introduced to Kate and Peter who is also going through a rough patch in their marriage. When Mira takes Kate upstairs to comfort her she starts kissing Mira. Mira feels guilty and stops Kate from moving ahead.
When they left, Mira tells Jonathan about her pregnancy. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to continue her pregnancy because of the issues she faced while she had her 4-year-old kid. In the hospital, while Mira was discussing the Side effects of abortion, we see Jonathan crying near the vending machine. Mira also covers her head with the sheet and sobs after everyone has left the room. This marriage is far from being perfect.
