Knives Out was a great hit when it came out and after announcing two sequels for the movie, fans are waiting for any announcements regarding it. After confirming the sequels in March, the production has been giving updates about who is joining the cast.
With a great cast in the first film, the announced cast should not come as surprise as the film is seeing the other amazing actors entering the cast. Day by day the cast can be seen growing with the latest additions.
Knives Out, the 2019 movie followed Detective Blanc uncovering the mysterious suicide of the writer Harlan Thrombey and examining the suspects, which is the whole family of the deceased. The movie had the brilliant cast of Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana De Armas and many others.
Daniel would be the only character who will be seen again as the detective for the next two films. The Twice Academy Awards nominated Star Leslie Odom Jr. was announced to be joining the film. Other cast reported having been officially confirmed since the announcement from the second week of May are Edward Norton, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monae, and Kathryn Hahn. The casting shows that the new movies will bring more diversity than the earlier film, which even won an Academy Awards nomination for Screenplay.
Netflix streaming platform bought the rights for the franchise sequels in March for $469 million and with that there has been an eagerness to know more about the upcoming movies. For now there is no other reveals except for cast information as the filming has not started yet. However, the filming process is to begin in late June and the shooting location will be Greece. The Actors are confirmed but what character would they be playing in the next whodunit sequel is as mysterious as the story. The official synopsis for the movie should be available by the end of the year, mostly we would see the detective covering another case.
There is not any official release date declared, as it is too early but the movie may release late next year.
