James Mardsen And Idina Menzel Set to Reprise Their Role in Disney’s Enchanted Sequel

Their Role in Disney’s Enchanted Sequel

As we all know Disney has been producing the sequel of its hit live-action/ animation hybrid ‘Enchanted’ titled ‘Disenchanted’, which was officially announced during the annual Disney Invention Day. Earlier Disney revealed that Amy Adams is all set to reprise her role but the other cast of the sequel was still under the wrap. Recently, while having a conversation with JLGB on live stream, the composer Alan Menken revealed that James Marsden and Idina Menzel will be reprising their role in Disenchanted.

In addition to this news, Patrick Dempsey also revealed that he will also be featuring in the sequel. During the live stream, Menken played the heartwarming part of Enchanted’s chartbuster song “That’s how you know” and dropped some details about Disenchanted.

While streaming, Menken also stated that the film has the potential to garner much appreciation and acclaim. Most importantly he said Amy is in it, Patrick is coming back, Idina Menzel and James Marsden are all set to reprise their role and that makes it a complete package.

While the cast including Adam, Patrick, Manzel, Marsden is set to reprise their role it is still unclear whether other new faces are going to join the cast or other actors from the original are going to come back. Unlike the original Enchanted, this move is going to shed light on the real world instead of following the adventures of the animated realm of Andalasia.

Released in 2007, Enchanted was a massive hit for Disney, earning $217 million domestically and $340 million worldwide, the movie garnered three nominations at Academy Award including Best Original Song category, and earned Amy Adams a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
