WandaVision Episode 6 Leaked: Agnes is NOT Mephisto, She is Nightmare

The first series in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, WandaVision is streaming on Disney Plus. WandaVision is unique in its own way and fans are loving every new episode even more. The series introduces some new characters in the cinematic universe, along with the return of our beloved superheroes. Fans are now curious to know the mystery behind the appearance of nosy neighbor Agnes, who is completely different than she what she appears to be.

Crossing Jordan actress, Kathryn Hahn plays Agnes and she has already stolen the fans’ hearts since her appearance in the first episode. Agnes, with her comedic relief, perfectly fits into the world of an alternate reality inside Westview. After the events of Avengers Endgame, Wanda stole Vision’s corpse, reanimated her, and constructed a fantasy world with several real-life humans in Westview. Among them is also Agnes, but some moments in the show hint that she knows what is happening.

Agnes is the primary antagonist of the show.

When the show revealed the inclusion of Kathryn Hahn’s Agnes in the series, fans quickly realized that she is quite an important person to Wanda. Fans believed that Agnes is not only the nosy neighbor that has been described by the show but Wanda’s mentor, Agatha Harkness. This makes so much sense because the clue is in her name — Agatha Harkness. But after few episodes, fans were convinced that she is the gender-swapped version of Mephisto, who has been controlling Wanda.

However, the latest episode changes all when the show introduced Evan Peters’ Pietro, Wanda’s brother.  Now a leak suggests that the nosy neighbor is in fact the female disguised form of the villain Nightmare. In the Marvel comics, Nightmare is known as the ruler of Dream Dimension. The villain has the ability to use the psychic energies from the subconscious minds of people who have been dreaming. But, how Agnes and Nightmare have a connection in WandaVision?

Agnes tells the twin kids of Wanda that the dog, Sparky is no more. This breaks the kids’ heart and they ask their mother to bring him back to life, however, she tells them that she cannot bring everything back into life. At the same time, she subconsciously thinks of her beloved brother Pietro, who died in the Age of Ultron. Later in the episode, Pietro rings the bell and appears before his sister Wanda, who is surprised. When Wanda subconsciously remembered her brother, Agnes was present.

Agnes (probably Nightmare) has potentially drawn her psychic powers to pull Quicksilver from another dimension in her[Wanda’s] altered reality. This is just a theory, although it somewhat makes sense. The next episode returns on Friday, 12 February 2021 on Disney Plus.
