This week was bad for the American actress and former Mixed Martial Artist Gina Carano as she was fired from the action-adventure American series ‘The Mandalorian’ by Lucasfilm and kind of good and bad for her fellow co-star.
The American-Chilean actor Pedro Pascal who plays the role of The Mandalorian in the American series ‘The Mandalorian’ is having one hell of a week as this week he was included in the some Twitter drama and he also got the lead part in HBO’s adaptation of popular video game ‘The Two of Us’.

This week, when Gina Carano was fired from the show because of her social media post in which she compared being under Republican rule, is just like Jews during Nazi Germany.
After this on social media people started urging Lucasfilm that this internet personality should be fired from her role because of her disturbing Instagram post and it did happen. After she was fired people started calling it a Lucasfim’s hypocritical decision as they want Pedro should also lost his job because last year he did the exact same thing.
Gina was fired
On 10th of February, a spokesperson from Lucasfilm in a statement said, “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent unacceptable.”
Gina’s fellow co-star Pedro Pascal also did the same thing last November when he compared the former US President Donald Trump’s supporters to Nazi’s. Pedro later deleted this November post. Some people on social media platform Twitter weren’t happy with this decision of Lucasfilm as they want Pedro Pascal to meet the same fate which Gina met.
On Twitter, a user tweeted, “Pedro Pascal, who plays the Mandalorian on Disney Plus, was not fired for this post on Instagram comparing Trump supporters to Nazis and Confederates.”
Other one tweeted, “A tale of 2 galaxies #PedroPascal #GinaCarano no need to #CancelDisneyPlus.”
One user came forward and tweeted, “It just shows just how hypocritical Disney and Lucasfilm truly is. Pedro Pascal can literally call any fan that voted Republican basically a Nazi and not get fired but praised!”
One user tweeted, “This is the nonsensical move from Lucasfilm. If Gina Carano can be fired for comparing people of the victims of Nazi’s, then Pedro Pascal should be fired as well for comparing tens of millions of people to actual Nazi’s.”
If you folks are thinking that people were only against him then you are wrong as many supported him and don’t want him to get fired.
One user tweeted, “I forgive Pedro Pascal and don not think he should be fired.” Like this user, many other users urged the same thing.
