Diamonds hit-maker, Rihanna has recently expressed her support for the Indian farmer’s protest. The farmers are on the street protesting the recent agricultural reform laws, which farmers believe a threat to their livelihood. Rihanna took Twitter on Tuesday and backed the farmers through a tweet, where she asked why the people aren’t talking about the farmer’s protest.

RiRi joins other popular celebrities like Greta Thunberg, who showed their support for the ongoing farmer’s protest. Farmer supporters were grateful to Rihanna for talking about the issue and giving the protest exposure on the world stage. However, everyone in India wasn’t happy with Rihanna for bringing international attention. The pro-government supporters hit back at the singer and songwriter and accused her of tweeting for money.
Indian actress claimed RiRi’s support was paid.
Meanwhile, a popular Indian actress named Kangana Ranaut also slammed the rapper for her support. She even called the Work singer a fool, dummy, and porn singer. Ranaut has also lashed out at Rihanna’s appearance, business, and support. She mentioned that the singer is nothing else than a singer much like Indian singers Sunidhi Chauhan or Neha Kakkar, who can shake butts and show butt cracks on the camera while singing.

Ranaut further added that about 99 percent of Indian doesn’t care or give respect to the American way of life about the paid opinions given by porn stars. She also slammed the American society by claiming it to be self-centered and money-minded. Queen actress mentioned that the singer didn’t commit to any opinion in the tweet as her tweet was just paid act of support.
Rihanna tweeted her support by sharing a CNN news article about the Indian farmer’s protest with a hashtag, #FarmersProtest. The farmers in India are on-street protesting peacefully against the recent agricultural laws. These farmers are on the highways, struggling against the winter. all while blocking the road to the nation’s capital. The protest took a violent turn on Republic Day when the protesters and police engaged in a clash in Delhi.
