Netflix Teases The Witcher Season 2 First Look with Gerald Fighting Monsters

Netflix has yet again brought out another image of the witcher for the holiday season! We can see stars Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan. Earlier in November, Netflix has cleverly timed the release of the season 2 promotion during Halloween.

In the teaser, most of the beasts seem familiar but there will be two enemies awaiting Gerald. The clip that shows our two new opponents was shared on social media platforms like Youtube.

The video consisted of mashups of clips from season 1 which was paired with a small glimpse of what’s to come in season 2. The teaser, of course, was subtle in telling us anything! The caption on Instagram goes, “This is not a trick, there are two threats to be found here.”

Netflix has also given us the plot details and synopsis for season 2 before the teaser. Also, we saw photos of Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, and Freya Allan on set for season 2. These photos give a small glimpse of what we can expect to see in season 2.

In case you forgot, the epic battle at the end of season 1, injured Yennefer even causing Geralt to think she’s dead. Season 2’s plot will follow her recovery and Ciri’s training at Geralt’s home to strengthen her magical abilities. We can expect to see season 2 out by 2021.
