LA Clippers and Denver Nuggets meet yet again in Game 3 of their Western Conference semifinals on Wednesday. Clippers are looking to extended their lead in the best-of-seven series, while Nuggets will try to even the series. The fourth game in the NBA Playoffs Round 2 will take place near Orlando at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The official tipoff time is scheduled to 9.00 PM Eastern Time.
Nuggets were leading until the third quarter but lost the game at full time. Clippers beat 113-107, outperforming Nuggets 29-19 in the final quarter. Denver coach Michael Malone after the defeat said nobody in the country gives them a chance to do many things. He admitted the importance of Game 4 and recalled how they were able to overcome a 3-1 deficit in Round 1.
As usual, Clippers’ duo Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were better in the third game against Nuggets. George scored game-high 32 points while the forward Leonard dropped 23 points with 14 rebounds. This is the second time Kawhi has scored less in the playoffs. Paul then said that he has to help Leonard and pull the weight.
Denver guard Jamal Murray had an impressive performance in Round 1, but he hasn’t been the best in the second round. Leonard stopped Murray’s dunk in the fourth quarter that somehow changed the game to Clippers side. Malone believes that Murray will be better in Game 4. Nikola Jokic displayed an impressive 32 points and 12 rebounds game in the loss against Clippers.
