MTV Video Music Awards: The Complete Winners List

The year of the gloomy pandemic had its first major award show. This Sunday, the 30th of August, the MTV Awards were held. Instead of the usual glamorous star-filled at Barclays, this year we saw a very scaled-down version of it. In addition to the following of social distancing guidelines, the number of guests and celebrities was also considerably less. Despite this, the hosts were not disappointing as the Palmer, put up a fantastic act.

The most consistent face of the evening was Gaga closely followed by BTS. She won the medley performance, won artist of the year, the song of the year, best collaboration, and best cinematography. She also feted with the inaugural Tricon Award. Gaga delivered an emotional speech. Filled with excitement and enthusiasm, the event brought a much back to normal feeling to many.

It was a great competition between Lady Gaga and BTS. A hard-fought battle, with Gaga emerging as the victor. Her performances have been splendid and no one can doubt her content quality. These performances were followed by a heart-wrenching speech by Gaga. this turned out to be a great event considering the various restriction put upon it. The organizers did a fantastic job by acclimatizing to the situation. Whilst ensuring safety, they also made sure that the event was worth watching and writing about. The 2020 MTV awards will be known for Lady Gaga’s dominance and a unique non-glamorous event.
