The video-conferencing platform Zoom has announced that it is now renaming Zoom Chat to Zoom Team Chat. The Company takes this move to enhance teamwork and collaboration. Zoom also added some features including third-party integration to the video-calling app.
Zoom Team Chat will also come with the ability to share in-meeting chat to Team Chat. Moreover, it will provide you with many services like scheduling a meeting from chat or channel.
The Company said in a blog post:

Zoom Renames Zoom Chat as Zoom Team Chat
The Company is going to release the new features by the end of this month. Zoom boomed during the coronavirus pandemic when people stuck at home took to video-conferencing to communicate. As of now, the company competes with Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and WeChat Work, among others.
The company said Team Chat extends beyond instant messaging. It is a powerful collaboration hub that leverages 1:1 and group chats as well as channels to integrate workstreams, keep projects on track, and connect stakeholders.
Zoom Team Chat is going to bring three new features soon
Team Chat brings together messaging, file sharing, third-party integrations, video, voice, and whiteboard in one place to simplify how you collaborate. When you need to elevate a chat conversation to a phone or video call or share an idea via whiteboard. You can do so at the touch of a button right in Zoom Team Chat, the company said.
