Developed by Behaviour Interactive, Dead by Daylight is a survival horror video game released back in June 2016. Ever since its release, the game has been quite popular and now, the devs are putting all their effort to provide consistent quality content to the players who have been playing the game. DBD fans have lots to anticipate this year as the game will be celebrating its sixth anniversary.

The next Dead by Daylight killer for the Chapter 23 Ringu is Sadako Yamamura.

BeHaviour Interactive has confirmed that the collaboration is based on the J-horror source material that Koji Suzuki’s novel that spawned numerous film adaptations and sequels, including three Hollywood movies.

Sadako’s abilities are not announced yet. However, Reiko Imavasu, the producer of Kadokawa teased in an interview with Polygon, “She is a little different from her predecessors in the game, specializing in delivering quiet terror.”

In a news release, Dead by Daylight game director Mathieu Côté said, “This new Chapter will give our players something intensely dark and troubling, a real heart-pounding experience that adds to the already high intensity of our game.”

In addition to the cursed murderess, there will also be a new survivor. Unfortunately, nothing has been revealed about them as of yet but it could possibly be Reiko Asakawa who is the female protagonist of the movie. Either that or it could be Kazuyuki Asakawa who is a male protagonist found in the novel.

So, one thing we can say for sure is that Dead by Daylight has a ton of new and interesting content stored for the players.

For the release date and time countdown of Dead by Daylight Chapter 23 Ringu PTB, it will come out on 15th of February, time – 16:00 GMT, 11:00 ET, and 08:00 PT.

How To Play RINGU PTB?

DBD fans will be able to play the Ringu and Sadako PTB via Steam when it becomes available.

Follow the steps below:

  • Open Steam
  • Proceed to Library
  • Right-click Dead by Daylight and select Properties
  • Click Betas
  • Open the dropdown menu and select Public Tests
  • Restart Steam and open DBD
