It is an upcoming South Korean television series of Romance, drama, and Political genres. It is adapted from the handwritten notes of a man who escaped from a political prison camp in North Korea.

Snowdrop is set against the backdrop of the 1987 Democracy Movement in South Korea. It tells the emotional love story of university students Su Ho and Young Ro.

Su Ho, an elite university student who suddenly appears at a women’s university in a bloody state one day, while Young Ro, a student at the women’s university who hides him from the government in her dorm and takes care of his wounds, and the two develops a romantic relationship.

Jung Hae-In as Im Soo-ho. A college student who was raised in Germany and hides a secret.

Jisoo (BLACKPINK member) as Eun Young-ro. A college student that falls in love with Soo-ho at first sight.

Jang Seung-jo as Lee Kang-moo. The leader of the Agency for National Security Plannings.

Yoo In-na as Kang Chung-ya. A skilled surgeon.

Yoon Se-ah as Pi Seung-hee. The housemother of Hosoo Women’s University Dormitory.

Kim Hye-Yoon as Kye Boon-ok. A phone operator who could not go to college due to financial issues.

Jung Yoo-jin as Jang Han-na. An impulsive but passionate ANSP agent.
