Blue Lock, is a Japanese manga series that is based on sports especially football. This series is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. This manga series is the imprinted version of Shōnen Magazine Comics.
The famous manga publisher Kodansha publisher publishes the series in the Japanese language and Kodansha USA publishes it in English for reaching the global audience. Till now, the franchise gets more than decent success and hopefully, more are coming in the future. Besides this manga series, the franchise is all set to release a brand new anime television series that is also based on the same storyline. This anime series is all set to release in 2022.
The Plot of Blue Lock Manga Series
The Blue Lock manga is basically based on the sports of Japan. The series was released in 2018 and the first chapter of the series was published on 1st August 2018. Till now they are released 15 volumes and a total of 148 chapters. And now the 149th chapter is almost ready to publish. Now, let’s talk about the main storyline of the series.
As we all know Japan qualified for the playoff in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and ultimately finish in the 16th position in the competition. Now, after that, the Japanese football union decide to build a facility program named Blue Lock where they train young and mid-age players to represents JApan in the upcoming football world cups to lead them towards victory.
