About Holby City Season 23
The twenty-third season of Holby City depicts the daily lives of dotors, nurses, other medical stuffs and patients in the general surgery unit of Holby City General Hospital. David Ames plays the role of Dominic Copeland, a register on the general surgery ward. Bob Barret appears as the ward’s clinical lead, Sacha Levy, a consultant general surgeon. Season 23 has total 50 episodes. On June 2, 2021 the BBC announced that Holby City will come to an end in March 2022.
Holby City has been nominated for over 100 television awards, of which it had won ten including British Academy Television Award. Holby City has been criticized for being unrealistic and stereotypical representation of doctors and nurses.
