About In the Dark
In the Dark is an American crime drama television series, created by Corinne Kingsbury for the CW. This series debuted during the 2018-19 television season.
Murphy, an irreverent blind woman in her twenties drifts through life in a drunken haze. Her friend circle is quite small consisting of Tyson, a teenage drug dealer, and Jess, her understanding roommate.
One time when Murphy was out for a walk with her guide dog, she stumbles upon a corpse that must be Tyson’s, but it disappears before the police arrive. When the police don’t pay any attention to the matter, Murphy decides to take matters into her own hand and solve the murder, while also managing her colorful dating life and the job she hates.
Given that we are closing in on the end of the season, we’re sure of spending a lot of time seeing things intensify. In this episode, Murphy, feeling isolated and alone, seeks comfort in the familiar but sometimes things take a different turn, and she is forced to fend for herself. The episode was directed by Jeff Chan and written by Corinne Kingsbury & Yael Zinke.
