One Punch Man the Japanese superhero franchise which was created by the artist One. The manga series is based on the story of Saitama. Saitama who is a superhero has the power to defeat any opponent with a single punch. He is in search of a new opponent after getting bored with the lack of challenges which was caused due to his overwhelming strength.
The original webcomic version for the manga series was written back in 2009. The digital manga remake began getting published on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website in June,2021. The manga series One Punch Man is illustrated by Yusuke Murata. The chapters are collected into tankobon volumes. As of January 2021 around 23 volumes have been published in North America.
In America, Viz Media is provided with the license to publish a remake English version of the manga series. The same is getting published in the Weekly Shonen Jump digital magazine.

The manga series was adapted for an anime series, which was produced by the Madhouse… In Japan, the series was aired from October 2015 until December 2015. J.C staff produced the second season of the same which aired from April 2019 till July 2019. Viz media is given the license to air the anime series too.

In North America, the series premiered on the Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block back in June 2016. The second season was aired in October 2019. The manga remake has sold around 3o million copies as of April 2020.
