In the year 2020, Timi studios had announced that they will be going to launch Contra Return very soon and from there they take the feedback from the audience. Though everyone is expected the game in the previous year now finally Timi studios finally declare 26th July when the users can download the game.

The game already came in the selected region like China, Taiwan, and many other countries. In 2007, the game was released in China, and in 2008, it was released in Taiwan. And now Timi studios finally is going to release the game for North America, Latin America, and the European region. The pre-register is now going on in the Google play store and iOS app store. But the publishers till not declare any release date for India or the southeast Asian region.

The developers include new gameplay, storyline, characters to the game for attracting it more. Besides this, now players can unlock special abilities and skills after level 200. Moreover, the other modes like 1v1, 3v3, and live mode are also there to play.
