What is happening on April 24th?

According to users, a group of 6 men has declared April 24  a “National Rape day” (Yes !), A day to carry out rape and sexual assault and they are providing tips on how to do so. It’s not clear where and how this trend has originated (or was it a joke)at this point. But the viewers have mixed reactions to it.

Several users on TikTok have posted various videos regarding this trend #nationalrapeday that how  this trend can post a threat on April 24

“So I literally just saw a video on TikTok, and I had to make a video myself because most of my followers are women,” says one TikTok in a video.“And I need to make sure you guys are aware that there is a video going around on TikTok of disgusting men—rapists, child molesters, predators, just disgusting human beings—and they literally came up with a date to go around and rape women and children. You literally heard me right: women and children.”

“You guys, stay indoors. I know it happens every day, but they are literally making this date especially for that. Carry what you got to carry cause I think the f**k not. Stay safe, share this,” she added. The TikTok user goes on explaining about April 24 and urges women to be aware of the potential threat

Many users suggested that this trend might be a joke but others think that it the situation which is needed the utmost attention.

Several Tik Tok users are urging peoples to report such accounts and block any of those videos that promoting sexual assault and rape.
