US Catholic Bishops DENOUNCING Joe Biden for Supporting Abortion

US Catholic Bishops are reportedly going to consider banning the current President of the United States, Joe Biden from receiving communion. The president, along with several politicians will receive the message after the conclusion of the annual U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops in June 2021. Biden’s and several other politicians’ public advocacy of abortion rights has led to this, report claims.

The religious leaders will reportedly vote during the annual meeting to decide whether the president will be receiving communion or not. Joe Biden is the second Catholic president in the history of the United States and the first to openly support abortion rights. Archbishop Joseph Naumann from Kansas City believes that Biden’s support of abortion rights is a grave moral evil.

Naumann is chairman of the US Catholic Bishops Committee on Pro-Life Activities. He told The Associated Press that it can create confusion as Biden presents himself as a practicing Catholic. Naumann slammed Biden for claiming himself to be a Catholic, but doing things against the church’s teaching. He also believes that it is publicly necessary to criticize Biden on the issue.

Biden is the second Catholic president in the US after former President John F. Kennedy.

Joe Biden routinely attends two churches where he worships and attend church services. He visits churches in his hometown in Wilmington, Delaware and Washington, D.C. on most weekends and on anniversaries. Biden annually visits the church to pay tribute to his late son, Beau Biden, who died back in 2015 due to brain cancer. The president is likely to continue receiving communion at his regular services.

Even though the Catholic Bishops decide to ban Mr President from receiving the communion, the final decisions is up to the individuals Bishops of the church he attends. Bishop W. Francis Malooly of Wilmington and Cardinal Wilton Gregory of Washington, D.C., where Biden routinely visits, have clearly mentioned that the president is welcome at the church they oversee.

The USCCB hasn’t revealed the details about the Bishops official stance against Biden. Naumann said that two-thirds majority is required to proceed with the decision to ban Biden from receiving communion. He believes there will be overwhelming approval in favor of the stance. The Biden administration reversed the Trump’s administration’s decision to stop the federal funding to organizations like Planned Parenthood.

Also, the Biden administration made a way for the women to receive abortion pills without the need to visit doctor during the coronavirus pandemic.
