The all-new Snapdragon 888 pro, a better and stronger version of the Snapdragon 888 chip is under testing. Likely to be available between July and September of this year. Yes, this year is going to amaze the android users with this chip.
Under Testing :
Last year in December, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 888. The previous chip is undergoing modifications to manufacture a better one. It’s under testing by their partners of Qualcomm smartphones. And if this successfully works, it’s going to have a high demand for this.
Availability:
It is likely to be available in the third quarter of this year. That is between July and September.
This information has been revealed by the Digital Chat Station on the social media platform Weibo.
About Snapdragon 888 Pro:
It is like to be used in gaming smartphones. And it will have specifications like higher clock CPU and GPU clock speeds.
Though it’s unclear as to which androids are likely to have the Snapdragon 888. Probably Xiaomi and others can have it as the Digital Chat Station cleared about the domestic manufactory.
The drawback of the Snapdragon 888 Pro:
Often customers complained about the heat consuming issue. It is speculated that this drawback is going to be there in the Snapdragon 888. If so, users or the customers are going to be dissatisfied.
Other than that, as per the sources, this going to be a beast version of the chip. And likely to be in demand. Chances that this would give high competition to others available in the market.
Cost :
However, the price range of this variant is not going to be a reasonable one. Maybe this is why not all smartphones can avail it.
