The genius villain of the DC Universe, Joker is the ruler of the underground Gotham. The entire Gotham City is terrified by the presence of this wizard of chemical engineering. He has a long history of rivalry with superheroes but his primary madness prevails around Batman. We have come across several actors executing his role and numerous deadly weapons developed by him.
Who are the actors who played Joker?
The Joker occurred in the cinematic world for the first time in the 1960s. In the year 1989, Jack Nicholson marked his presence as Joker in the film Batman. Followed by Jack Nicholson in 2008 late actor Heath Ledger enacted as Joker in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight’, the actor received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the movie.
After 2008 in 2019 single-origin film Joker was released by Todd Phillips where star Joaquin Phoenix performed the part of Joker and for his extraordinary performance in the film, he won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 2020. It’s been decades and Joker still rules over the hearts of people and has a huge fan base. He is the best psychopath of all time.

The humorous evil prankster was enacted by various actors but a few made it to compete for the title of the best Joker. Jack, Phoenix and Ledger all brought out their best while performing the role of Joker but only one will get the best clown crown.
3. Jack Nicholson- (Batman) 1989
-This was the only movie Jack would have celebrated the most. In the thick makeup, he enacts Joker beautifully. It’s been decades since the movie first came out and the other Actors make it a tough competition for Jack to win the crown.
2. Joaquin Phoenix- (Joker) 2019
-Joaquin performance in the movie Joker was remarkable. His role in the movie was more concentrated on displaying what deeds of society made a person turn into a criminal. Joaquin falls on number 2 as Joker is a clown who likes destruction and attaching feelings with his personality doesn’t fascinate the audience.
1. Heath Ledger- (The Dark Knight)- 2008
-Heath in ‘The Dark Knight’ is the best joker forever. He has the best terrific laugh of all, he has psychopathic possession, the jolly emotion in his “I don’t wanna kill you” and what else do you want.
