Mi Smart Band 6 to be Launched on March 29 Globally

The Chinese smartphone making company is back again with another new device Mi Smart Band 6. Here’s all the latest updates you need to know.

Mi Smart Band 6– Features

There is not much news as to what the Mi Smart Band 6 will offer. There is only a short clip posted by the company, the market head has post a small video clip on Twitter.

The clip shows that the watch will come in differs colour variants also different watch faces. The wearable will also have have a NFC chip installed. Apart from this there will be in-built GPS, SpO2 sensor, and some new exercise modes.

The Band will come with a Pomodoro Timer. This timer lets you control all your smart home appliances that use the Mi Home platform.

In the poster shared by Xiaomi, the fitness band looks similar to its predecessor Xiaomi Smart Band 5. Only difference is that the screen size has increased. It is likely to come with a full-screen display.

Launch Date and Other Updates

The Xiaomi Smart Band 6 will be launched on 29 March. However, the previous model Xiaomi Smart Band 5 was released last year in July. Band 6 is arriving quite earlier.

Xiaomi took to Twitter to announce about the mega launch event featuring its new fitness band Xiaomi Smart Band 6,

“Meet a bigger vision! What new features would you love to see from the #MiSmartBand6? Don’t miss the Xiaomi 2021 New Product Launch at 19:30 (GMT+8) on March 29.  Stay #OneStepAhead and discover all during the #XiaomiMegaLaunch”.

Apart from the, Xiaomi will also reveal other gadgets as well in the launch event. The list includes– Mi Mix, Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11 pro. It is also expected that the Mi Mix will be the first foldable smartphone to be introduced by Xiaomi. However, till date there is no confirmation from Xiaomi about the news of launching a foldable smartphone.
