Spotify, the music streaming platform is rolling out new features, both for web player and Spotify Desktop App. Here’s all the details you need to know.
New Design and Features
Spotify is introducing new features and designs to its web player as well as Spotify Desktop App. The new design gives a better and enhanced look to the website.
Search bar has been shifted. Now you will find the search bar on the left side of the navigation page.
Also, creating playlists has eased up a bit. The new tools which habe added are much easier to use thus making the playlist creation a lot more easier and the ability to drag and drop new tracks into the playlists.
Apart from this another noticeable change is that web player users in India will now get access to synced lyrics. The same is available in the Desktop App too.
Users now can also write descriptions and add images too. Spotify Premium users can listen to their favourite tracks even while they are offline. Also, the Desktop App has the download button next to the tracks.
When will these features be available to users?
Spotify has made an announcement stating that these new updates and add-ons have started rolling out already from today. It will be available to both free and premium users all across the world.
The company has also said that the above mentioned changes and new look is the result of feedback which was received from the users. After a lot of testing and research the changes have been applied.
As the company says, these new features and the new designa have been implemented taking into consideration the requests received. Also, this gives a more clean and tidy look which was required for the users.
