Beyonce sets a new Milestone, Becomes the Most Awarded Female Artist of the History

Beyonce added another star on her badge during the 2021 Grammy Awards by becoming the most awarded female artist of all time.

With the best R&B Grammy Award for revolutionary single “Black Parade”, Beyonce bagged her 28th Grammy Award, which helped her surpass the previous record-holder Alison Krauss with 27 Grammy Awards.

The 63rd annual ceremony of the Grammy Awards was truly dominated by female artists. The real dominant of the night with record-breaking nine nominations, the American singer and songwriter showed her dominance over the industry by receiving two awards during the pre-ceremony: best rap performance for her chartbuster song ‘Savage’ with Megan Thee Stallion and best music video for ‘Brown Skin Girl’.

Not just the mother, but the daughter also created history, Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter made history by becoming the second youngest artist to win Grammy. Blue received her first Grammy for ‘Brown Skin Girl’.

Later in the ceremony, the superstar singer bagged Best R&B Performance for “Black Parade”. While receiving the Grammy for best R&B performance, Beyonce said “As an artist, I believe it’s my job to reflect the truth of the time. This song is a tribute to every beautiful ‘Black Queen and King’ that inspire not just me but the whole world”.

Before setting the milestone of becoming the most awarded female artist of history, Beyonce broke another record with the 63rd annual Grammy Awards as she became the most nominated female artist of Grammy history with 79 nods on her name.

In addition to “Black Parade” with 4 nods, the superstar singer got nominated for her Juneteenth Disney+ release Black is King and the best music video for “Brown Skin” girl. She also 3 nods at her name for the stars of the night “Savage” and “Black Parade”.

Currently, Beyonce is in the second position on the list of artists with the most nominations. With three nominations this year, Jay-Z is one the top of the list with 80nods.
