What to expect from You Season 3?

Season two of You had some answers, such as what happened between Joe and Candace. And why she had “unfinished business” with him, but it also left us with a lot of unanswered questions.

As previously said, Love was the one who murdered Joe’s next-door neighbour Delilah as well as his ex-girlfriend Candace.

Joe admitted at the end of the finale that the “Quinn machine” had wiped his “slate clean.” Practically letting him off the hook for the heinous crimes he’d committed.

You left us with Joe living with his murderous girlfriend and their literal Love child. And a slew of possibilities about where things could go next. Despite appearing to have gotten everything he wanted, Joe was unsatisfied. Describing his situation with Love as a cage or some kind of bad luck, suggesting that trouble was on the way.

Of course, we can’t overlook the season’s very last scene, which strongly suggests Joe is returning to his old tricks–AGAIN. Joe found a new You to fixate on after spotting his new neighbour through the fence.

As he watched the next poor, unsuspecting woman, Joe’s narration echoed, “I will figure out a way, a way to get to you.”

“The most important thing about that last scene is that it confirms that Joe is still Joe in a way that isn’t going to work out well for Joe,” she explained. “That he hasn’t realised that he can’t just keep searching for the next person to pin his hopes and dreams to… things aren’t going to go well for Joe.”

The Release Date for You Season 3 hasn’t been confirmed yet. But because of the pandemic and the delay in production, it will be released very late in 2021.
