Weekend, Justin Bieber will not be Attending Grammy 2021

Justin Bieber and Weekend have decided to skip the 2021 Grammy Awards. Bieber who was nominated for four different categories will be giving it a miss for the musical night after getting rejected for his album. The reason he is giving the musical awards a miss is that Academy nominated his album in a pop category instead of classifying it as an R&B category.

Justin expressed his thoughts and sentiments on an Instagram post regarding the loopholes in the grammy awards.

Justin is not going to perform at this year’s awards. He got nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance for his song’Yummy’, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for ‘Intentions’ featuring along with Quavo, Best Pop Vocal Album, and for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Weeknd’s After Hours got humiliated from the 2021 Grammys nominations list and he has mentioned his reason to boycott the music award show due to the incident. The Weeknd‘s album and musical hits like Blinding Lights received critical acclaim and broken several records, and still, he did not get recognition from the Recording Academy. Now, the Blinding Lights Singer spoke to the New York Times and revealed that he will be boycotting the Grammys forever due to the secret committees.

Weekend said that He will no longer allow his music label to submit his songs for the Grammys. He also made allegations that these committee members favor artists who have connections with the academy board members.

He slammed The Grammys and was really disappointed that he ended up tweeting about it and expressed his disappointment, as he got really angry after he realized that he received zero nominations for his songs.
