Friends Reunion is Finally Happening and it’s Sooner Than You Think!

The Friends reunion is right around the corner,and is confirmed to reunite. Co-stars David Schwimmer, Matt Leblanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, and Lisa Kudrow. To finally film the highly anticipated TV special.

American actor David Schwimmer on Wednesday revealed. That the highly awaited Friends Reunion Special will start filming soon in over a month.

David Schwimmer’s Revelation

Schwimmer, who portrays paleontologist Ross Geller in the hit American sitcom Friends. Said he cannot be more excited to start the shoot. Which will feature the reunion of the six main leads — Courteney Cox as Monica Geller. Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, Jennifer Anniston as Rachel Green. Matt Le Blanc as Joey Tribbiani and Matthew Perry as Chandler Bing.

Schwimmer said of the reunion, which has been delayed several times due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. That he will soon fly to L.A for the shoot after figuring out a way to film it safely, due to the ongoing pandemic.

Unfortunately, Schwimmer didn’t reveal any other major details about the special reunion taking place. However, he did confirm that Ellen DeGeneres will not be hosting the event as the news headlines stated it.

First Announcement of The Reunion

The reunion was first announced in February 2020 and was intended to stream on HBO Max in May the of last year. But, due to the pandemic, filming was postponed not twice. Aniston stated that this has also given them more time.to make it even more exciting and more fun than it would have been.

Perry also gave fans a later update in November 2020 when he tweeted that filming was rescheduled to begin in early 2021.
