The seventh season of CW superhero action-drama premiered much later than the usual date. The CW previously planned to run the previous season for 22 episodes but was compelled to conclude the season in the nineteenth episode due to the coronavirus pandemic. In the seventh season premiere, we witnessed Barry still struggling to get his powers back.
Eva destroys her first duplicate and the original Mirror Master, Sam Scudder in front of Scudder’s boyfriend and metahuman Rosalind Dillon. Cecile then approached Dillon and learns that Dillion had been working with Eva. She also learns that Eva is plotting to destroy Central City by detonating a bomb in one of the Black Hole planes. Barry, Nash, and Chester discover a way to activate the Artificial Speed Force.
After a first failed attempt, they deduce that Nash must die to restore Barry’s power. They try to find a new method, but when there is no time left to stop the plane, Nash sacrifices himself, allowing Barry to regain his powers and ultimately saving the city. Elsewhere, Iris is stuck in the mirror-world and she is being hunted by different versions of herself. She tries to escape from the mirror-world, but to no avail.
The next episode, The Flash Season 7 Episode 2, will air on the CW on March 9, 2021, at 8/7c. Alexandra LaRoche has directed the episode, titled The Speed of Thought. The first three episodes of the seventh season will conclude the story arc based on the Second Graphic Novel . Mother, the last episode on this story arc, will air next Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
The Flash Season 7 Episode 2: Preview
Barry will now focus on saving his wife, Iris from the mirror world in the upcoming episode. Fans are also excited for the next episode because Barry will suddenly acquire new power, the power of speed thinking. Barry looks excited to try his new power to save his wife, however, Cisco seems hesitant to trust the new power. Eva realized that she is the duplicate in the previous episode and will also find more shattering truth in the next episode.
