Mark Ruffalo has done several awards winning movies and on 1st March 2021, he got his first Golden Globe award for best actor in the movie I know this much is true. Ruffalo gave a hearty speech virtually for all his fans and people watching the award ceremony after being congratulated by his family.
Ruffalo acknowledged the people who were close to him first before moving on to the crew of the series. He said ” I thank my family who lets me go off and bring these crazy people home and they have to live with all these years. Thank you, guys. He emotionally added ” Thank you for leading with the idea of humanity, however it comes, beautiful, ugly, inspiring, sad. Ruffalo was nominated for the Best Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television called I know this much is true alongside Hugh Grant, Jeff Daniels, Bryan Cranston, and Ethan Hawke and won the award during the 78th Golden Globe award ceremony.
I know this much is true is an HBO miniseries that follows the story of two twin brothers Dominic and Thomas Birdsey as they struggle and fight to survive in a doomed world. The series is originally taken from the bestselling Novel of the same name by Wally Lamb.
