The filming and productions of many big-budget and popular shows and movies came to a halt due to the Covid 19 Pandemic in the year 2020. Sex Education’s filming and production got affected due to the ongoing pandemic. But it looks like the makers of the show can resume the filming and production of Season 3.
Season 3 has been filmed in Wales. The local residents of Wales managed to get a glimpse of the actors while filming in their neighborhood. The fans managed to spot Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield, and Emma Mackey and expressed their excitement on Twitter.
People are awaiting the premiere of Season 3 of the show after the success of Season 1 and Season 2. Each character in the series had a personal story and how Otis’s sex clinic solved their personal issues. The Friendship and Bromance between Otis and Eric have warmed the hearts of the fans of the show.
What will happen in season 3 of Sex Education?
Asa Butterfield aka who plays Otis said an interview in January 2021, went on to spill the bean in the interview next series will not commence from where the second series was left. The end was basically kept in a cliffhanger.
He said that “There’s a bit of a time-jump since the season two cliffhanger. said Asa in an interview with The Guardian.
Butterfield went on ahead giving glimpses as what will be the fans getting to watch in the third season.”Otis is back at school but he’s got different things on his plate. He’s grown up a bit and become slightly sassier. It’s been fun to portray his newfound charisma. Don’t worry, though, he’s still tragically awkward too.”
Who will be the star cast in Season 3
Many familiar faces and characters will be making a comeback in Season 3 where. Asa Butterfield will be back as Otis, Gillian Anderson returning as his sex therapist mother Jean. The Moordale high school students are Ncuti Gatwa as Otis’ who plays Otis’s best friend Eric.
Emma Mackey as Maeve, Aimee Lou Wood as Aimee, Connor Swindells as Adam, Kedar Williams-Stirling as Jackson, Patricia Allison as Ola, and Tanya Reynolds as Lily. Alistair Petrie will be seen playing as Adam’s dad Mr. Groff and former headmaster of The Moordale High School.
Season 3 will also bring some new faces Jemima Kirke will play Moordale’s new headteacher, Hope, while musician Dua Saleh is a non-binary student Cal. Jason Isaacs.
