Nintendo Direct: How to Watch, Timings and More

It’s felt like forever as it has been almost six months since the last big Nintendo Direct in September of 2020 was released. Previously, its big holiday releases included- Super Mario 3D All-Stars, a collection of three remastered games, and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, a Zelda spin-off.

In the latest Nintendo Direct, hosted by Nintendo, the Japanese gaming giant will announce what games will be up next on your Switch “in the first half of 2021.” The new livestream will run for nearly 50 minutes, thereby highlighting on available Switch games, including Super Smash Bros. We are expecting some fresh titles to arrive in this half of the year.

What to expect

It’s a 50 minute presentation, which is even longer than the last July’s Nintendo Direct Mini, and so it has escalated everyone’s expectations. Possibly we’re about to get a good look at New Pokemon Snap, which is scheduled for release on April 30. Additionally, there are chances that we’ll get more DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield. It is also likely that we will get to see more Breath of the Wild 2. Rumours are also swirling up that the “one more thing” announcement is going to be a latest 4K-capable Nintendo Switch.
