She had worked with David O. Russell in AMERICAN HUSTLE, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, and JOY. with Francis Lawrence in RED SPARROW, THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE and THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1 & 2. She has also been a part of the two most profitable franchises ever in Hollywood. One of them is of course the HUNGER GAMES and the second is Fox Studio’s X-MEN series. She is also one of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood with a net of $130 million.

Jennifer Lawrence is working with A24 under the direction of Lila Neugebauer. The title they choose for the span of shooting the movie is Red, White, and Water. The story has been told by many directors in the past but we will see the new angle she presents in this movie. The story is about a soldier in Afghanistan, but because of a head injury, he has been relieved of his duty and now adjusting to this new life in America. The project is in post-production right now, but the release date will be hopefully in 2021.

The next project she’s working on is with Netflix under the direction of Adam McKay. He’s also the writer of this movie which will be a satire. You know Adam McKay as the director of The Big Short and Vice. Both of the movies were critically praised and moderately successful at the box-office. Jennifer Lawrence is sharing the screen with one of the biggest stars of Hollywood right now which includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Tyler Perry, Jonah Hill, Matthew Perry, and also Timothée Chalamet. The movie is set to be released in the mid of this year. Netflix has not announced a release date yet.
MOB GIRL:
Mob Girl will be a biopic. The story will take place in New York in 1970, and will follow the story of a woman named, Arlyne Brickman who was part of the crime organization at that time. She went on to work with the FBI to became a witness. The movie is under the direction of Paolo Sorrentino, whom you guys know as the Great Beauty which was released way back in 2013 and also from the Young pope. The movie is in Pre-production right now. There’s no release date but we are expecting it to be released in the last month of this year.
