Christopher Plummer ‘Sound of Music’ dead at 91: Reason of Death and Lifestyle

As we all know about Christopher Plummer. He was well known for his performance. He had received many awards in his lifetime.

Christopher Plummer: Loved his profession

Hollywood opened it’s a door for him. He gave his best in many movies and receive many achievements.

“I’m just sorry that after all the years of playing marvelous roles, to be known for something as saccharine as that,” he told The Times in 1976. Still, he allowed, “It became easier for me to fill a theater.”

He was really very nice man who always respect his profession and also love with it.

An oldest actor who received Academy awards at the age of 82.

“Christopher Plummer, the dashing award-winning actor who played Captain von Trapp in the film The Sound of Music and at 82 became the oldest Academy Award acting winner in history.”

He had spend more than 50 years of his life to the film industry. And in that years he always gave his best to it.

He was nominated  for performing Leo Tolstoy, A Russian auther story , in The Last Station.

Plummer had won Oscar awards for best supporting actor after decades of time spending in the film industry.

He also became the oldest actor who received Academy awards at the age of 82.

He had many fans or you can say he was very popular among general public.

His death

Plummer died at the age of 91. According to Elaine Taylor , his wife, ” he died from a blow to the head resulting from a fall. ” His family released a statement announcing that Plummer had died peacefully with Taylor at his side.

On 5 February 2021 this incident happened. This is very bad news for all his fans and public.

“Chris was an extraordinary man who deeply loved and respected his profession with great old-fashioned manners, self-deprecating humor and the music of words,” said Lou Pitt, Plummer’s friend

“He was a national treasure who deeply relished his Canadian roots. Through his art and humanity, he touched all of our hearts and his legendary life will endure for all generations to come. He will forever be with us.”
