Dancing on ice is a British television series. The series is presented by Philip Schofield with Holly Willoughby. The show began in 2006 and went in until 2011 with Holly Willoughby it was canceled in between due to some reason and was renewed in 2018. From 2012 – 2014 Christine Bleakley presented the show. The show is about tje professional couple who perform a dance in front of a panel of judges.

The show was largely affected due to Coronavirus but recently the Show won’t be going ahead with its regular live session due the members being tested Covid positive and injuries. Joe Warren, Jason Donovan, Rufus Hound, Denish Van, and Hamish Gaman are said to quite the show. All of them have different reasons resulting the show to get halted. A special featuring highlight will replace the original Saturday’s live.
Last week Joe Warren Planet3 was tested Coronavirus positive in spite of taking all the possible precautions and safety measures. He then had to live the show as there are chances of the other crew members getting affected. Rufus Hound too was tested Coronavirus positive and was forced to live the show. Both were disappointed on leaving the show halfway but they had no other option than to quit.
Jason Donovan the American singer and actor too will be not able to join the show as he’s suffering from back pain. He will be able to join the show only after he gets recovered and his back pain is alright. The actress Denise Van ended up dislocating her shoulder during the training due to which she too can’t join the show this week. Hamish Gaman has also pulled out of the show along with his partner Faye Brookes. Gaman injured his finger while practicing.
The Health and welfare of the staff and the team member is the first priority of the showrunners and keeping the health in mind the showrunners took the decision to not air the weekend live show. The show was supposed to get aired on 21 February 2021. Which is now shifted to 28 February 2021. The show is taking a break of few weeks and will return soon with some excitement and new surprises on 28 February 2021.
The fans are eagerly waiting for the show on the other hand some are saying to come back with the show and the next year. So that everyone who had to leave the show halfway gets a fair chance.
